The Future Arctic-Atlantic Ocean: Connectivity, Climate and Consequences

As part of the Arctic Summit Science Week, this workshop on Weds 25 March 2026 will showcase emerging research results from EPOC that reveal new understanding of the Arctic-Atlantic connectivity loop based on observational measurements and innovative modelling approaches. Aimed at a broad audience and engaging stakeholder organisations, this session will explain and explore the implications of these results at different scales and over varied timeframes, examine potential impacts on the blue economy, and discuss relevance for policy and governance. Further details to follow.

Greenland-Scotland Ridge Workshop

The Greenland-Scotland Ridge Workshop will be held at the Institute of Marine Research in Bergen on 24 April 2026. The workshop aims to advance the GSR observing system by identifying key knowledge gaps, and to develop a strategy to deliver a sustained time series of transport across the Ridge. Registration is open here.
