EPOC Newsletter 4 covers the latest developments from across the project community. A new paper published in Nature, led by EPOC scientists at UCL, shows that Atlantic Ocean circulation remained active during the Last Glacial Maximum, with deep Atlantic water far warmer than previously thought. The newsletter also reports from the Edinburgh biogeochemical sensors workshop, which brought together EPOC researchers to explore how carbon and nutrient measurements can be integrated into AMOC transport mooring arrays. Media coverage features prominently too: the Channel 4 News segment on the RAPID array reached a primetime UK audience and sparked significant public interest in AMOC science.
